4719-001997 New DLP Chip With Installation Kit for Mitsubishi Samsung Toshiba Rear Projection Televisions
New DLP DMD Chip (digital micromirror device). This IC is used in select Mitsubishi, Samsung, and Toshiba televisions. These chips are brand new and have not been pulled, used, or re-manufactured.
Includes: One 4719-001997 DLP Chip and one chip installation kit.
Kit includes: 1 Anti-Static Strap, 1 Thermal Pad, 1 Micro Fiber Cloth, and 1 Pair of Gloves. Gloves are size large to accommodate most hand sizes. This is an installation kit only and does not include the DLP chip.

Replacing this part will correct white and black dots in the picture caused by faulty mirrors within the chip.
After replacing the DLP Chip, the DMD/Formatter board might also need to be replaced. This is usually indicated by black vertical bars or a broken mosaic pattern in the picture.
Installed this new DMD chip in my Samsung 72 inch TV that had the white dot problem. The result was excellent and it worked perfectly to resolve the problem.
