Installation and disposal

  • Use only with a compatible ANSI S62 HPS ballast and properly rated E39 mogul lampholder.
  • Disconnect power and allow the lamp and fixture to cool completely before service.
  • Protect the lamp from impact, scratches, moisture, and combustible materials.
  • This HID lamp contains mercury. Follow applicable lamp-recycling and disposal requirements.
  • Ballast-bypass LED retrofit lamps require fixture modification and are not direct HPS-lamp substitutions.
